johnson is accused of killing the teenager. johnson was the boyfriend of phylicia's sister deena. >> reporter: fish's older sis -- phylicia's older sister deena barnes took the stand. for about 15 minutes all eyes were on an elicit video found on deena 's cell phone, the state said is part of the harmful nottive to harm phylicia. it's been two years since anyone heard the voice of phylicia barnes. this time it was played through the back of a tv set as part of ellis sit evidence. prosecutors started the morning with playing it with the voice of phylicia, deena, johnson and her younger brother all engaged in joinking, the touching and grabbing of each other's private parts. it was in that moment prosecutors say changed the relationship between the two. johnson's defense team now the -- knew the state was going to show it and said the following. >> you can separate the mindset of there being a minor child involved. imagine your run of the mill college kids in a coed situation where there's four people engaged in sex in the same vicinity. what's disturbing about this is one of them
testimony in the felicia barnes murder trial. the state said it was a 28-year- old michael maurice johnson that track strangled and killed her. there are still so many questions about what happened to her. questions that should start to get answered tomorrow. in open court . brian is here with what we can expect. >> reporter: for two days we weren't allowed in the courtroom while the judge conducted jury selection. this morning that finally wrapped up. michael johnson now know who will determine his fate. soon after they were seated the jury was dismissed for the day as both sides in the case argued legal mocks in front of the judge. there are a lost issues to go through in this case. there is that sex video involving the victim and the accused, the older sister and johnson's younger brother. the lead baltimore city detective in the case is also a senator of controversy. he was suspended for misconduct by the department just days before johnson was art arrested. the motions address some of the issues setting the ground rules for the trial. it'll start tomorrow morning opening statements. w

on metal hips, the news hasn't been good. johnson & johnson recalled their all-metal hip in 2010. a deposition revealed a 2011 internal company document predicted that almost 40% of those hips would go bad within five years. johnson & johnson says that estimate was based on a small, limited set of data and shouldn't be generalized, but "the new york times" reports that lawyers for the patient now suing the company introduced internal documents in court, showing that johnson & johnson knew of the problems with the hip all the way back in 2007. the failure rate for all brands of metal hips varies. it happens more often in women and the overweight. it is believed that constant friction can cause metal to break off into your body, even end up in your blood stream. that can mean joint pain and swelling and symptoms you'd never associate with your hip, including rash, heart problems, fatigue, depression, problems seeing or hearing. >> those are serious symptoms. there are thousands of americans walking around with this metal in their hip right now. what if they're not feeling it at all
